Account setup
Create your VPNFV account
Start by opening the account creation page in the VPNFV user panel. Set a username and password as prompted. No email address is required, so save both credentials in a trusted password manager. The username is used to sign in to the user panel, while the password protects your plans, orders, and subscription details. Avoid reusing either credential on other sites.
After you submit the account details, the user panel should open. If the browser remains on the sign-in screen, use the username and password you just created. Once inside, confirm that the account overview, plans, and client download sections are visible before continuing. It is normal not to have an active plan yet; the subscription section may not show anything to copy at this stage.
If the username is already taken, choose another easy-to-recognize name that does not contain sensitive information. If the password format is rejected, adjust it according to the requirements shown on the page. Avoid repeatedly refreshing and resubmitting the form, as this can make it difficult to tell which attempt succeeded. Being able to enter the user panel normally means the account setup is complete.
Choose a subscription
Choose a plan and place your order
In the plans section of the user panel, first distinguish between monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they remain available until used and never expire. The two product types work differently, so do not compare them by total data alone.
If you use the service continuously and access international websites or cross-border work tools every month, choose a monthly subscription based on your typical usage. If your usage is occasional or you prefer to consume data only when needed, consider a data package. Plans support unlimited devices, but all devices share the available account data, so leave enough capacity for household or multi-device use.
After choosing a plan, click its selection button and review the product name, data allowance, and amount. Then choose an available payment method from Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, do not submit the order again. Return to the account overview and check the plan status first. The panel may need to be reloaded; once the order shows as completed, continue to the subscription step.
When upgrading a monthly subscription mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. If you are unsure which tier to choose, use your recent data consumption as a guide rather than treating promotional scenarios as your own requirements. For a broader comparison of route types, billing models, and household sharing, read the cross-border network service buying guide.
Configuration delivery
Get the subscription link from the user panel
Once the plan is active, open the account overview in the user panel. The subscription section will show an import option linked to the current account. You can usually copy the subscription link directly or open the appropriate import method for your client. Treat the subscription as account configuration: do not share it in public chats, forums, screenshots, or shared documents, as anyone with the link may consume the account’s data.
After copying the link, do not paste it into a browser address bar. A subscription link is meant to be read by a compatible client, not opened as a normal webpage. To check whether the clipboard content is complete, you can briefly inspect its beginning and end in a local text editor. Close the file afterward and do not save the real content in cloud notes.
The address below is shown only to illustrate the format and is an obvious dummy value that cannot connect to this service. In actual use, copy the content generated for your account in the user panel. Do not copy the example or manually replace any fields.
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If no subscription option appears in the overview, first check the order and plan status. Signing out and signing in again may refresh the account information. If the link is still unavailable, submit a ticket through the user panel and describe the order status and what appears on the page. Do not paste the complete subscription link into the ticket.
Client configuration
Import the client on each platform
Client downloads are available in the user panel. Sign in to access the subscription, and download access depends on an active plan. This page does not provide direct installer links, and downloading same-named files from unknown sources is not recommended. In the download section, choose your device platform and follow the instructions. After installation, import the personal subscription copied in the previous step.
The first import follows the same basic process: open the client’s subscription or configuration manager, choose the option to add a link, paste the subscription into the address field, give the configuration a recognizable name, then save and update it. After a successful update, selectable regional routes should appear. If you save the link without updating, the route list may remain empty.
Windows
Select the Windows client in the user panel and complete the installation. Open the desktop client, go to subscription management or configuration, choose import from link, paste your personal subscription into the field, and save it. Then click update subscription and wait for regional routes to appear. If the system asks for network access, confirm that the program name matches the VPNFV client you just installed before allowing the network configuration.
After importing, keep the client window open for now instead of enabling every startup option. Confirm that a route connects normally, then decide whether to launch it at startup based on your preferences. This keeps installation, subscription, and startup issues separate during troubleshooting.
macOS
Get the macOS client from the user panel, follow the system prompts to install it, and open the app. In subscription management, add the configuration by link and run an update. macOS may ask for permission to add a VPN configuration or change network settings. This authorization is required for a system connection; verify the app’s source and then follow the system prompts.
If the subscription is imported but no available routes appear in the menu bar, return to the client’s main window and update it manually. Some versions place subscription management under Configuration, Services, or Settings. The names may differ, but the order remains the same: add the link, save, update, and choose a route.
Android
Choose the Android client in the user panel’s download section, install it, and open the app. Find the subscription, configuration, or resource section, choose import via URL, paste your personal subscription, and save it. After the update finishes, choose a route and connect. The first connection will display a VPN permission prompt; read the system message and allow the client to establish the connection.
If the connection often drops when the app is in the background, check the system’s battery-saving and background activity restrictions for the client. Menu locations vary by device manufacturer and are usually found under app info, battery, or background management. This guide focuses on the main workflow; for more detailed system settings, see the Android VPN first-connection guide.
iOS
Open the iOS download instructions in the user panel and use the App Store link provided there to get the appropriate client. After installation, open the client, choose import from link in the subscription or configuration section, paste your personal subscription, and update it. On the first connection, iOS will ask for permission to add a VPN configuration. The connection can be established only after confirming through the system prompt.
If you copy the subscription from another device, make sure you do not paste the link into a public input field. After importing, delete the sensitive content from the clipboard and return to the client to choose a route. Menu names may change after a client update; look for options such as add subscription, remote configuration, or import via URL.
Result verification
Connect to a route and verify access
After importing, run a subscription update in the client to ensure the route list is not stale. Then choose a route based on the region of the target website or app. For region-specific content, prefer an exit route that matches the target region. For cross-border work, start by comparing nearby routes and then observe the application’s actual response. Route names and available regions depend on the current subscription.
After clicking Connect, wait for the client status to stabilize before opening the target website or app. Do not check only whether the client says “Connected.” Confirm that the target page loads normally, sign-in works, and common actions can be completed. A webpage loading does not guarantee that a third-party platform will grant content access; region rules, account region, and platform policies must be checked separately.
If the target app was already open, fully quit and restart it after connecting so that an old session or cache does not continue using the previous network result. In a browser, open a new window and visit the site again. For tools that require sustained use, complete a short test first and begin the real task only afterward, avoiding a route change discovered midway through an upload or lengthy operation.
For streaming, also check whether the content catalog and playback behavior match expectations. A route connection provides network egress conditions; it does not equal authorization from the target platform or guarantee that its rules will remain unchanged. AI Tools are likewise affected by account permissions, service regions, and product policies, so network connectivity and feature availability should be assessed separately.
Basic troubleshooting
Check connection issues in order
If you cannot connect, first confirm that the local network can access ordinary websites. If the local connection is already down, switching routes will usually not help. Once the network is working, return to the client and update the subscription, confirm that the account plan is still active, and check whether the route list refreshes. This helps rule out three common causes in order: local network problems, account status, and stale subscription data.
If the subscription updates successfully but one route cannot reach the target service, try another available route in the same region and reopen the target app. Do not switch repeatedly while changing several system settings at once, or it will be difficult to identify what helped. Change one condition at a time, verify the result, and then move to the next check so the outcome remains easy to reproduce.
If the client reports a configuration error, delete the failed subscription entry and copy it again from the user panel before reimporting it. Do not edit the subscription address manually or treat the example address as a real configuration. If system permission has been disabled, open the network settings and confirm that the current client is still allowed to create a VPN configuration, then try connecting again.
If the issue persists, submit a ticket through the user panel. Include the operating system, the message shown in the client, whether the subscription updates successfully, the route regions you tried, and the type of target app. Before taking screenshots, hide your username, order details, and subscription content. For route principles, billing trade-offs, and a fuller diagnostic process, continue with the buying guide; this page does not cover complex protocols or advanced network parameters.
